Get ready America, it seems that Obama is going to make a big push for gun control measures including the return of the so called assault weapons ban. I have been hearing this from several sources and now a political "go to" site is also saying the same thing. RedState.Com is reporting that they have heard that Obama will make a push for gun control in the next couple weeks. Americans knew sooner or later he would go after guns and it looks like they were right.
Keep in mind that this administration has shown itself to be very anti-gun at almost every turn. They are trying to force long gun reporting on gun dealers, they have blocked the re-importation of Korean vintage M-1 carbines and Garand Rifle's claiming they didn't want more "high powered assault weapons" on the streets. Then Obama appoints a very anti-gun individual to run BATFE in Andrew Traver, a pal of his from Chicago. Now with the liberal left screaming Obama is bowing to them and is mounting an effort to get various gun control measures passed by congress including the Clinton era assault weapons ban, banning high capacity magazines and trying to get gun registration in some form.
So why is this important to survivalist's? Well my friends you are the very group of people they worry about most. You are independent, self reliant, value your freedoms and above all you own guns. Your freedoms are at stake, stay on top of this and stay involved.
